How do I flag someone's account to Support?

UrbanSitter's Flag system allows members to report content on UrbanSitter that violates our Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. The UrbanSitter Support Team is notified of these flags, takes any action that may be necessary, and follows up with the member who flagged as soon as possible. Flags are totally confidential - rest assured that the member you flag will not be notified of your flag to Support.
 

Sitters

Did you see a post on the Job Board that seems odd, fishy, or unrelated to childcare? Flag the post to Support by first navigating to the post on the Job Board. Click 'Full Details'.

Then, click 'Flag post' at the top right corner. flag_scammer_post.pngYou'll have the opportunity to select a reason for the flag and a space to write your concern in further detail. Finally, click 'Submit' to send your flag to Support.

Once you've submitted your flag, the post will be marked as 'Flagged' in red.

If you suspect that a parent is a scammer, we encourage you to first cease all communication with them - then flag. For more information about scammers, please check out our Scammer FAQ


Are you suspicious of a parent account, or did you have a negative experience with a parent at an UrbanSitter booking and want to let our team know? Flag their profile to Support by navigating to their parent profile and clicking 'Flag profile'.

Sitters: please note that the Flag system is not meant to express interest in jobs or contact parents.

 

Parents

Did you have a negative experience with a sitter and would like to report the incident to our Support Team? Flag their profile to Support by navigating to their sitter profile and clicking 'Flag profile'.

Parent and sitters: please know that if you are ever concerned about a member on UrbanSitter, we strongly recommend contacting our Support Team by flagging the member's profile or sending us an email at support@urbansitter.com.
