As a new caregiver on UrbanSitter, one of the best ways to build up your profile and credibility is to request recommendations from past employers, families, and colleagues you've worked with who can speak to your caregiving skills, professionalism, personality, and more. To get a recommendation:
- Reach out to the family or employer with your personal recommendation link
- They create a free account and write you a recommendation
- The recommendation appears on your profile as a five-star review
Access your personal recommendation link from your profile or Success Guide under Get reviews. On the app, tap More > Success Guide > Get recommendations then send to the family, colleague, or past employer via email, text message, social media, etc.
Please note they will need to create an UrbanSitter account in order to submit your recommendation, and they can do so for free (without purchasing a membership) when submitting your recommendation on your profile accessed via the UrbanSitter website, not the apps. Learn more here.
