As you can review your experience with a new caregiver, caregivers can review families and provide feedback on their experience with the parent, employer, or care seeker. Reviews can be submitted publicly or privately and ask the caregiver if they’d recommend the family or care seeker to other caregivers, and to give yes or no feedback on whether the family or care seeker:
- Respected their time
- Accurately described job duties
- Paid based on booking agreements
You can view a summary of your reviews on your profile under Caregiver Feedback.
Reviews help caregivers feel safe and know what to expect from a new family. When asked what would make them more confident in accepting jobs, reviewing families was caregivers’ #1 request. Many caregivers said they would overlook a negative review if the job otherwise seems like a great fit for them.
Note: uncompleted bookings or bookings not scheduled through UrbanSitter will not allow the caregiver to submit a review. Family reviews should focus on the caregiver’s experience with the care seeker and there are no questions that reveal personal or identifiable information about minors.
