Caregivers can connect with families by expressing interest in their job posts including sending personalized messages and answering screening questions. Families may message to learn more about you, or book you for a job or interview straight away. Families also search for caregivers by availability, special experience, and more so make sure your profile is up-to-date and accurately reflects your current offerings to make sure you show up in their search results.
You will be notified when a family sends you a job or interview request. Make sure to review all the details and accept the request if it works for you, or decline if it’s not the right fit. View your pending requests on your Bookings page filtered by Active Bookings.
Tip: If families forget to book you on UrbanSitter, you can Add the Job yourself to help earn your Repeat families badge.
Note by accepting a request you accept all the booking details, including rate and payment method, as you cannot negotiate the original booking terms after accepting. Declining jobs does not affect your stats or standing as a caregiver, but it may be a good reminder to make sure your calendar and availability are accurate.
