Create a profile and show off your skills
Your profile is the place your place to shine and represent your availability, background, and skills, and also where families and care seekers get to know you as a caregiver. Add information like:
- years of experience
- rates and services provided
- special skills or situations you’re willing to help with
- languages you speak and education
- your working location
To show you’re trustworthy, reliable, and available for jobs, add a profile video, get recommendations from previous families and employers, and add availability to your calendar. Families search for caregivers by specific date and time so be sure to keep your availability updated! Finally, you need an active membership and clear the background check before being approved. Learn more about requirements for being approved here.
Connect with families and find job opportunities
Browse available jobs posted by families on the Job Board and express interest if you’re available for the commitment. You can write a personal introduction message and answer any screening questions. View the family’s profile to see vaccine and other badges and view feedback from caregivers they've hired. As an approved caregiver you can message and book with as many families as you want.
Book jobs and interviews and get paid via direct deposit
From your interest in their job post or from your profile while searching local caregivers, families will send you interview or booking requests for you to accept or decline. Once accepted, you are committing to the booking and are expected to show up at the job or interview location.
When the job is over, the family will pay with cash or use our online payment system to pay you via direct deposit. You can receive payments instantly for a small fee or in a few days to your bank account. Learn more about how caregiver payments works here. Finally, the family is asked to review you and you can give feedback on your experience with the family or care seeker too.
