How to get a copy of my background check

Caregivers on UrbanSitter are required to have an active membership and a completed background check to be approved to connect with families and book caregiving jobs. Background checks are processed by our safety partner, Checkr. To receive a copy of your background check, make sure to select this checkbox on the Disclosure screen when filling out your information:

You can also access Checkr's Candidate Portal to view the progress of your background check, dispute or provide certain information if needed, and request a copy when it's complete. Please note Checkr will store your completed background check for six months. If you need assistance with an old check, please contact their support team.
